Pet Planet Welcome Email Sequence
Client: Pet Planet (fake company) is a pet supply store that sells all-natural and sustainably-sourced pet supplies.
Challenge: Pet Planet wanted a welcome email sequence that introduced the company to new customers, educated them, and ultimately got them to stop by the store.
Solution: The key to warming up customers is to offer value. The first value option is a coupon, followed by a short educational email warning of the dangers of toxic dog toys. We then introduced readers to the Pet Planet family by telling a personal story about Ruffles, the owners' dog. We followed that with an instructional email, and finally ended with an invitation to visit the store and a reminder to use their coupon.
